Paris Hawkins, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, received her early training from Collins Hill High School dance department in Suwannee, Georgia. Ms. Hawkins Graduated from Brenau University of Gainesville, Georgia with a BFA in Dance Performance. She has been trained in Styles and techniques such as modern, jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, and musical theatre. While at Brenau University, she danced in works choreographed by Atlanta Ballet’s Kristy Nilson, Black Label Movement’s Carl Flink, and Charlotte Boye- Christensen of Now ID. She has choreographed numerous pieces of work for Tau Sigma Dance Fraternity, Gwinnett County School’s Dance Departments, also produced works for Evening of Dance at Brenau University, and a contemporary piece for Heather Wayne Performing Arts Academy. She is no stranger to travel since she has traveled internationally to Sorrento, Italy to perform and take class with Staibdance Contemporary Dance Company in the summer of 2016 and has also performed in Detroit, Michigan with Zoetic Dance Ensemble this past June 2017. This will be Paris’ 3rd season as a company member. She is thrilled to be dancing with such an amazing group of talented women and is excited for what this season has in store.
