ChristinaNoel is a native of Athens, GA where she studied dance at DePass Studios and at the University of Georgia. She received a BA in Music: Voice Performance from Georgia State University while training and performing with Zoetic Dance Ensemble in Atlanta. She went on to receive her MFA in Dance at NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, where she developed a unique blend of dance and voice performance. ChristinaNoel Reaves now lives and works in NYC, pursuing professional dance and vocal performance, instruction and composition.


In addition to her artistic endeavors, ChristinaNoel is also an accomplished educator with a focus on emerging professional dancers.  She is teacher and rehearsal director for Dancewave, Brooklyn, NY, working predominantly with the international touring company comprised high school aged students. ChristinaNoel is also a teaching artist for the Sunset Park Headstart Center in Brooklyn and leads master classes and workshops for Ireland’s Shawbrook Dance Summer Practicum, Scotland’s Aberdeen International Youth Festival, and Germany’s Pottpourus Festival. 


ChristinaNoel has developed work for The Dance Theater of Ireland, Dublin, the 2010 and 2011 Bessie Workshop, the Dance NOW Festival 2009, the LaMama Theater, the short film Au Clair du la Lune for the New School NY, The Tank, and the 2011 Legros Women in Dance Studio Series, New York. 


She is currently performing for Patricia Noworol Dance Co., Jody Oberfelder Dance Project, ChoreoTheatro, Scott Lyons’ Choreogaphy, Colectivodoszeta, and Rachel Wynne’s expandance.  She has also performed for Meredith Monk, Doug Elkins, Ellis Wood, David Dorfman, Ivy Baldwin, Monstah Black, Zoetic Dance Ensemble, Colectivodoszeta, Danielle Russo Dance, Yin Yue Dance Co., and the Collective Opera Co.


Her current work focuses on creating collaborative experiences dancers, musicians and composers, such as Cameron Mizell and James Light.  She leads a creative team in developing performances incorporating movement, vocal and instrumental production and dance based on human connections and encounters.
